The Business Behind a Wish

By way of wishing for money

I throw my money away

Eventually someone comes along

And this is how he’s paid

He scoops up my coins and those of others

Spending them them to maintain

The place we threw our cash into

So more people can play this game

Toss three a coins into a fountain

A wish is what this buys

It’s a small price to pay for something

That will never materialize
