“Any idiot can face a crisis – it’s the day to day living that wears you out. ~Anton Chekov
I like to think I’m not just any idiot. I have great stamina, and I try to combine my day to day living with crisis mode. The result being high drama all the time. It is free entertainment, and free is good. Here is how you can achieve this:
1.) Start with your wake up time. If it takes you thirty minutes to get to work, set your alarm thirty minutes prior to the time you are expected to start. If there is a train, or you need to stop for an animal crossing the road, or you decide to brush your teeth before you tear out of the house, the excitement is almost guaranteed.
2.) Go grocery shopping with a small amount of cash, and try to spend the exact amount.
3.) Never carry a phone charger, and do not charge your phone beyond 35%, and rely 100% on the GPS on your phone for directions.
4.) Drive your car until the (gas tank empty) light blinks.
If you can combine all of the above, you are one of those people who is always in crisis mode, and not just any idiot.
