Voices: “In that car, look.” “Is that Ethan?” “Is he with his mom?” “How humiliating for him to be seen driving with his mom…”

Narrator: “In the endless reaches of the universe, there once existed a city known as ‘The City’, a city that once burned to the ground when Mrs O’Leary’s cow kicked over a lantern. There, civilization was far advanced and it brought forth a race of ‘supermoms’, whose mental and physical powers were developed to the absolute peak of maternal perfection. But there came a day when poorly managed public schools threatened to destroy ‘The City’ forever. One of ‘The City’s’ leading scientists, sensing the approach of doom, placed his mother in a small rocket ship and sent it hurtling in the direction of the suburbs just as ‘The City’ exploded. With its precious burden: ‘The City’s’ sole survivor, the rocket ship sped through star-studded space, landing safely in a cul-de-sac populated by identical homes. A passing carpool found the uninjured mom and took it to an obstetrician.

As the years went by and mom grew three children, she found herself possessed of amazing physical powers: Blending smoothies in a three speed bullet, more powerful with a shot of protein powder, able to wash piles of laundry in a single load. The scientist’s mom from ‘The City’ is now Supermom!

To best be in a position to use her amazing powers in a never-ending battle to humiliate her teenaged son by merely existing, Supermom has assumed the disguise of mild-mannered single mom, with two spawn in college and one still at home.”

Announcer: “Yes, it’s Supermom, strange visitor from a major city, who came to the suburbs with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal mothers. Supermom, who can bend wills, and who, fights a never-ending battle for a living wage. Her only weakness is hormone fluctuations: not hers, because her hormones are regulated, but those of her teens, which drains her power, leaving her shaking her head wondering ‘Am I being tested?'”
