Kellyanne Conway is making the rounds again. She’s back at work utilizing her well honed skill of answering a question no one asked.
Asked by Bergen County Record on Sunday: “Do you know whether Trump Tower was wire tapped?”
Kellyanne said: “What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other now unfortunately.”
Interviewer: “Do you believe that?”
Kellyanne: “There was an article this week about how you can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets, any number of ways…microwaves that turn into cameras, etc. So we know that that is just a fact of modern life.”
Maybe more like an alternate fact of modern life. Inspector Gadget, James Bond, and Inspector Clouseau from Pink Panther films can provide you with any examples you might need.
Conway told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday: “of course I have no evidence for this,” saying that’s why there’s a need for an investigation. “I’m not in the job of having evidence.”
What exactly is her actual job anyway? Conway sets up ridiculous claims much the same way Trump does: “There was an article this week about…” The same as Trump’s: “People are saying…”
These are segues into fabricated gossip—innuendo stated as fact.
I could use the same technique to say: “There was an article about Kellyanne Conway having been required to submit to a lobotomy in order to keep her position with the Trump administration after her “alternate facts” and “Bowling Green Massacre” statements crossed the line from plausibility to fantastical.”
Or I could say: “A lot of people are saying they saw monkeys fly out of Donald Trump’s ass this weekend when he was on his weekly Florida vacation (at the expense of tax payers)—they were Russian monkeys holding tape recorders. Those tape recorders had somehow been placed in the first ass by former President Barack Obama. I am asking congress to officiate a rectal exam by a white male proctologist. We need an investigation.”
I didn’t say it’s true, only that people are saying it, and you should investigate it.
Kellyanne Conway is right though. She is not in the job of providing facts. Her job is to distract the press. Keep the focus off Trump so he can continue on with his agenda of stealing from the poor and givig to the rich. Kellyanne creates fiction and then tell the press and the intelligence communities to verify it.
I have to ask again, why is anyone still interviewing Kellyanne Conway? She isn’t allowed in White House meetings, so even if she were capable of giving an honest answer, she doesn’t have any information.
